Dual-mode gaming mouse

The LUOM F-18 is a right-handed gaming mouse that works wired or wireless over a 2.4 GHz USB receiver. It offers six selectable DPI steps from 600 to 3200 and seven programmable buttons. The optical sensor delivers a 500 Hz polling rate in both modes. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver on Windows, Mac OS 9 or later and Linux systems.

Thermals noise and power

The integrated rechargeable battery powers wireless play and charges through the included 1.5 m USB cable. Wired use draws power directly from the host port, so there is no separate charger to carry. Optical tracking produces no audible noise, and the low-power 2.4 GHz link keeps the mouse cool during extended sessions.

Build connectors and mounting

The ergonomic shell uses a skin-friendly finish shaped for palm or claw grip, reducing fatigue over long periods. A 1.5 m braided cable doubles as the charging link and wired connection. The nano receiver stores inside the mouse body when not in use. Seven buttons and a clickable scroll wheel sit within easy reach for right-handed users.

Questions about this item

How do I switch between the 2.4 GHz wireless dongle and the 1.5 m USB cable on the LUOM F-18?

Plug the 2.4 GHz receiver into a USB port for wireless mode, or connect the 1.5 m cable directly to the mouse and a USB port for wired mode; both work without drivers.

What part of the LUOM F-18 will need replacement first and can I change it myself?

The integrated rechargeable battery is non-removable, so when it no longer holds charge the whole mouse must be replaced.

At what polling rate does the LUOM F-18 report in wireless mode during long sessions?

The wireless link runs at 500 Hz, matching the wired polling rate, so sustained use stays at 500 Hz.
