LUOM F-18 Dual-Mode Gaming Mouse

The LUOM F-18 is a right-handed gaming mouse offering both wireless and wired operation through a single USB interface. It uses an optical sensor with six selectable DPI steps ranging from 600 to 3200. The integrated rechargeable battery and 1.5 metre cable allow instant switching between modes without driver installation. Palm and claw grip users will find the ergonomic shape suitable for extended sessions.

2.4 GHz Wireless with 500 Hz Polling

The defining specification is the 2.4 GHz wireless connection delivering a 500 Hz report rate that matches wired performance. A supplied USB receiver provides up to 30 metres of range. Wired mode uses the same 500 Hz polling over the included cable. Both modes are plug-and-play on Windows 2000 through Windows 10, Linux and Mac OS 9.X or later.

Six DPI Levels Up to 3200

Sensitivity adjusts across six fixed steps: 600, 1000, 1600, 2000, 2400 and 3200 DPI. This range covers everyday office work and fast-paced FPS play, with 20 G maximum acceleration handling rapid swipes. The 250 Hz minimum polling option conserves battery when high speed is not required. Seven programmable buttons give quick access to macros or media controls.

Questions about this item

How does the 3200 DPI maximum translate to actual cursor speed on screen?

The sensor steps through six fixed levels from 600 up to 3200 DPI, so each increment changes how far the pointer moves per millimetre of hand travel; at the top setting small motions cover the full display width.

What does the 2.4 GHz wireless link with 500 Hz polling mean for input lag?

In wireless mode the 2.4 GHz dongle reports at 500 Hz, matching the wired USB rate, so button clicks and movement updates arrive every 2 milliseconds with no driver installation required.

What physical space and ports are needed to use the mouse in either mode?

The right-handed shell requires a USB-A port for the 2.4 GHz receiver or the 1.5 m charging cable; the integrated battery recharges through that same cable so no battery compartment or extra clearance is needed.
