Three-source HDMI 2.1 switch for 8K displays

This LUOM OZ8Q3-2 switch connects three HDMI sources to a single 8K display. It suits gamers and professionals who alternate between consoles, streaming sticks and computers without swapping cables. The unit draws power from the source devices so no external adapter is needed. A front-panel button and LED indicators show the active input at a glance.

48 Gbps bandwidth handles 8K at 60 Hz

The HDMI 2.1 interface delivers up to 48 Gbps, supporting 7680x4320 at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. Dynamic HDR, VRR and ARC pass through for compatible content. The chipset is backward compatible with earlier HDMI standards. It cannot drive two displays simultaneously or extract audio to a separate output.

Aluminium chassis with 3.9 ft output cable included

The black aluminium alloy enclosure measures 5.91 x 2.36 x .79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces. Three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output are recessed for secure cable seating. A 3.9 ft HDMI output cable ships in the box for immediate connection to the display. The passive design means operation stays silent but relies on source devices for adequate signal power.

Questions about this item

Will this 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 switch pass 8K 60 Hz from a new console while I still use a 4K 60 Hz monitor on the same output?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with earlier HDMI standards, so an 8K 60 Hz source will negotiate down to the monitor's maximum 4K 60 Hz capability without extra setup.

How do I confirm the OZ8Q3-2 is routing the correct 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz signal after I press the selector button?

The front panel has three LED indicators; the lit LED matches the active input, and the connected display will show the source's native resolution and refresh rate.

Does the 3.9 ft HDMI output cable in the box reach my TV, or must I buy a longer 48Gbps cable separately?

The included 3.9 ft cable connects the switch to the display; if your TV is farther away you will need to purchase a longer Ultra High Speed HDMI cable rated for 48Gbps.
