It is aimed at streamers and content creators who need to record or broadcast gameplay from consoles such as Switch, PS4, PS5 or Xbox One, as well as from cameras or set-top boxes.

Build Integration

The unit draws power directly from the host USB port and requires no external supply or driver installation on Windows, Linux or macOS. A 3.5 mm microphone jack lets you add live commentary without routing audio through the console. The HDMI pass-through sends the source signal to a display at up to 4K 30 Hz while the USB link delivers captured footage to recording software.

Resolution Headroom

The device can ingest a 4K 30 Hz signal but captures at a maximum of 1080p 60 FPS over USB 3.0. The HDMI output mirrors the input at 4K 30 Hz for zero-latency monitoring.
