The HDMI 2.0 input and loop-out support 3840×2160 at 60 Hz RGB 8:8:8, so the source display runs at full fidelity while the USB 3.0 link records at 1080p 60 fps. HDCP 2.2 protected content at 4K 30 fps can be passed through, but capture resolution tops out at 1080p, so producers needing 4K60 recording must look elsewhere.

Passive cooling and bus power
