LUOM OZG2 3x1 Optical Switch

The LUOM OZG2 is a three-input, one-output SPDIF Toslink switch that lets you route digital audio from three sources to a single amplifier, soundbar or AV receiver. It handles LPCM2.0, DTS and Dolby Digital streams without quality loss. A supplied IR remote and front-panel button both change the active input, and the last selection is remembered after power loss.

Suited for multi-source stereo setups

Home-theatre owners with a PS3, PS4, Blu-ray player, Apple TV or cable box can connect all three to one optical input on their sound system. The aluminium alloy chassis provides shielding and the 5V USB power cable is included. Buyers who need to pass 7.1-channel Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby TrueHD should look elsewhere because those formats cannot travel over Toslink.

Audio format support decides compatibility

The switch accepts LPCM2.0 at sample rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz, plus compressed DTS and Dolby-AC3 bitstreams. It does not decode 7.1CH Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby TrueHD. Verify that every source device can output one of the supported formats before purchasing.
