4-port 4K@60Hz HDMI switch

The LUOM OZQ5-1 connects four HDMI sources to one display, supporting 4K resolution at 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2 and HDR. It handles YUV444 and RGB888 colour formats at 18.5 Gbps bandwidth. The unit includes an IR remote and front-panel buttons for input selection. It suits home-theatre users who need to share a single screen across multiple consoles, streamers or PCs.

Sustained 4K@60Hz throughput

The switch maintains full 18.5 Gbps bandwidth during continuous operation, avoiding the drop to 24 or 30 Hz seen on lesser models. HDCP 2.2 handshakes remain stable across extended viewing sessions. Audio passes through without distortion or added latency, supporting compressed formats such as DTS and Dolby including DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD. LED indicators show the active port at all times.

Replaces manual cable swapping

This device removes the need to physically change HDMI cables when moving between a PS5, Xbox, streaming stick and Blu-ray player. The upgrade is worthwhile when a display has only one HDMI input but the user runs several 4K@60Hz sources. It does not add extra outputs, so buyers who need simultaneous multi-screen output should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the LUOM OZQ5-1 generate noticeable heat or fan noise when switching between four 4K@60Hz sources all day?

The unit is passively cooled with no fan, so it runs silently; the compact metal chassis dissipates the low power draw from the 18.5 Gbps HDMI 2.0b circuitry without audible noise.

What cables and power source must I already have to use this 4-port HDMI switch?

You need four HDMI cables for the source devices, one HDMI cable for the display, and a nearby mains outlet for the included power adapter.

Will the switch pass 1080p@60Hz and 3D signals from an older PS3 or Blu-ray player without downscaling?

Yes, it supports all legacy formats down to 480p, 720p and 1080i/p, plus 3D and HDCP 2.2, so older sources pass through at their native resolution.
