4K 60Hz HDMI Switch with Audio Extraction
The LUOM OZQ7 is a 4x1 HDMI switch that routes four sources to one display while extracting audio through optical Toslink, coaxial, and 3.5mm L/R outputs. It supports ARC on the HDMI output and on the Toslink and coaxial ports, making it suitable for home-theatre setups that need separate audio paths. A 5V/1A power adapter and IR remote are included.
Bandwidth and Resolution Limits
The switch operates at a maximum bandwidth of 18.5Gbps and 600MHz, passing 4K@60Hz with YUV4:2:0 chroma subsampling and 4K@30Hz with full RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4. HDMI 2.0 cables up to three metres are supported at 4K@60Hz, while five metres is possible at 4K@30Hz. The 3.5mm jack does not carry ARC, and DVI conversion is not compatible.
Upgrade From Basic Splitters or ARC-Less Switches
This unit replaces simple passive splitters that cannot extract audio or handle HDCP2.2, and it supersedes older switches limited to 1080p or lacking ARC return on optical and coaxial outputs. The jump is worthwhile when you need simultaneous HDMI, Toslink, coaxial, and analogue audio feeds from four 4K sources without signal degradation.
