4x1 HDMI Audio Extractor with ARC

The LUOM OZQ9 is a new 4x1 HDMI switch that extracts audio to optical Toslink, coaxial, 3.5 mm jack and stereo RCA outputs. It accepts four HDMI 2.0b sources at up to 4K 60 Hz and passes video through a single HDMI output with ARC support. An IR remote and 5 V power adapter are included.

Best for multi-source setups needing separate

Home-theatre owners who route game consoles, streaming sticks or a Blu-ray player to one display while sending sound to a soundbar or AV receiver will benefit. Buyers who require more than four HDMI inputs or need HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for higher refresh rates should look elsewhere.

18.5 Gbps bandwidth ceiling

The switch is rated for a maximum 18.5 Gbps aggregate bandwidth, which limits it to HDMI 2.0b signalling. Any source that demands the 48 Gbps throughput of HDMI 2.1 will not operate at its full capability through this unit.

Questions about this item

What source devices do I need to connect to the four HDMI inputs?

Any device with an HDMI output — such as a games console, streaming stick, Blu-ray player or set-top box — can occupy each of the four inputs.

Will my 1080p@60Hz sources work alongside a 4K@60Hz source on the same switch?

Yes, the switch accepts 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p@50/60Hz, 1080p@50/60Hz and 4K@20/30/60Hz simultaneously across its inputs.

How can I confirm the ARC audio is reaching my soundbar through the HDMI output?

Play content with Dolby Atmos or multichannel audio; if the soundbar shows an ARC indicator and outputs surround sound, the HDMI output ARC path is active.
