The LUOM OZU3 is a bi-directional USB 3.0 switch that lets two computers share one peripheral or one computer swap between two peripherals. A single button toggles the active connection and blue LEDs indicate which port is live. Two USB 3.0 A-to-A cables are included in the package.

5 Gbps practical ceiling

The switch supports USB 3.0 transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, but that speed is only reached when every link in the chain — cables, host ports and the attached device — is USB 3.0 compliant. Using USB 2.0 cables or ports will drop the link to 2.0 speeds automatically. No external power supply is required for operation.

Two-port capacity limit

The unit provides exactly two USB 3.0 ports, so it comfortably handles a single printer, scanner, keyboard or mouse shared between two PCs. It cannot accommodate three or more computers or peripherals without adding another switch, and it does not support charging-only or proprietary device protocols.
