LUOM OZV2 2×1 HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor Switch

LUOM OZV2 2×1 HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor Switch

The LUOM OZV2 is a 2×1 HDMI 2.0b switch with an integrated audio extractor. It lets two HDMI sources share a single 4K display while sending sound to external audio gear via optical, coaxial, RCA or 3.5 mm outputs. Home-theatre owners who need simple source switching and audio breakout will find it a compact fit.

Installation and common issues

Connect the two sources to the HDMI inputs, link the display to the HDMI output, attach the 5 V DC adapter and select the active input with the IR remote. The unit is HDCP 2.2 compliant, so protected 4K streams pass through, but it does not work with DVI sources. The 3.5 mm and RCA outputs deliver stereo only; multichannel formats require the optical or coaxial ports.

Capacity and headroom

Video bandwidth reaches 18.5 Gbps, supporting 3840×2160 at 60 Hz with 24-bit RGB 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2:2 and deep colour up to 36-bit. Audio extraction handles LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio pass-through, while optical and coaxial outputs carry up to 5.1-channel Dolby Digital or DTS. The stereo analogue outputs are limited to two-channel PCM.
