This LUOM OZV2 unit routes two HDMI 2.0b sources to a single display while pulling the embedded soundtrack out to optical, coaxial, RCA stereo and a 3.5 mm jack. It is built for home-theatre owners who want to keep a soundbar or AV receiver fed without constantly swapping cables.

HDMI 2.0b bandwidth and format limits

The switch passes 18.5 Gbps per channel, enough for 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz with 24-bit RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4, and handles HDCP 2.2 plus earlier versions. It does not support DVI signals, and the 3.5 mm plus RCA outputs carry only two-channel stereo, not multichannel bitstreams.

Audio capacity and headroom

Optical and coaxial ports deliver up to 5.1-channel Dolby Digital or DTS bitstreams and LPCM 7.1, while the analogue outputs stay at two-channel PCM. The box cannot decode lossless formats such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio; it passes them through bitstream only, so a downstream decoder is required for those codecs.
