Home-theatre HDMI switching

The LUOM OZV2 is a 2x1 HDMI 2.0b switch with built-in audio extraction for home-theatre setups. It connects two 4K sources to a single display while sending sound to an amplifier or speaker system through multiple audio outputs. The unit supports ARC on the HDMI output and on the Toslink and coaxial ports. It ships with a 5V/1A power adapter and an IR remote.

Sustained 4K60 signal handling

The switch maintains an 18.5Gbps bandwidth per channel at 600MHz pixel clock without signal degradation during extended viewing sessions. HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.x compliance remain active across long playback periods. Audio formats including LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio pass through continuously without dropouts. The device handles 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, 4K@30Hz and 1080p@60Hz resolutions stably over time.

Passive cooling and low power draw

The compact black enclosure measures 5.75 x 5.08 x 1.5 inches and weighs 8.8 ounces with no moving parts, so operation is completely silent. Power consumption stays minimal thanks to the external 5V/1A DC adapter supplying only the switching and extraction circuitry. No fan noise or heat buildup occurs during normal use, making it suitable for quiet living-room installations.

Questions about this item

Does the LUOM OZV2 generate noticeable heat or fan noise when left powered on all day?

The unit has no fan and draws only 5 V at 1 A from the included DC adapter, so it runs silently and stays cool during continuous operation.

What cables and power source must I already have to use the OZV2 switch?

You need two HDMI 2.0b source cables, one HDMI 2.0b cable to your display, plus the supplied 5 V/1 A DC power adapter; audio cables (Toslink, coaxial, RCA or 3.5 mm) are only required if you want extracted sound.

Will the OZV2 pass 4K 60 Hz from an older HDMI 1.4 source to a newer HDMI 2.0b display?

Yes, the switch is backward-compatible with 4K@30 Hz and 1080p@60 Hz sources and will up-convert the signal to the 18.5 Gbps HDMI 2.0b output without quality loss.
