The LUOM SW204N-DP lets two computers share one DisplayPort monitor and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, printer or scanner. Switching is handled by front push-buttons or the included wired desktop controller. The unit ships with two USB 3.0 cables, a power adapter and a manual.

DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth and USB 3.0 limits

Achieving 8K at 60 Hz requires a DisplayPort 1.4 cable; the final resolution also depends on the graphics cards, monitor and cabling working together. The switch is backward compatible with lower resolutions and can also run 4K at 120 Hz. USB 3.0 ports provide up to 5 Gbps data transfer, while USB 2.0 devices fall back to 480 Mbps.
