The LUOM T06 is a USB 3.0 KVM switch that lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripheral devices such as a keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner or flash drive. It is aimed at home users and small offices that want to avoid constantly swapping cables or configuring network sharing software. The unit is bus-powered and includes the necessary cables in the box.

Single-button switching with LED indication

A single push-button on the top panel toggles control between the two connected systems and an LED shows which computer is active. The switch supports USB 3.0 bandwidth and 1920 x 1080 video resolution through its VGA, SVGA and Multi-Sync monitor ports. No driver installation is required on Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux or Chrome OS.

Plug-and-play with optional external power

Installation is straightforward: connect the two computers and up to four USB 3.0 devices, then press the button to switch. The unit draws power from the USB bus, but a micro-USB port is provided for an optional standard 5 V adapter when high-draw peripherals such as external hard drives or SSDs are used. Using a charger with a higher voltage output is not allowed and may affect performance.
