This 16 ft LUOM TJ-A022 cable uses 4-core optical fibre to carry DisplayPort 1.4 signals over long distances without signal loss. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz with up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. The male-to-male connectors are 24K gold plated for durability. It is suited for home theatre, gaming, office, VR or workstation extensions where copper cables would be too short.

In-wall rated hybrid construction

The hybrid design combines pure glass fibre with oxygen-free copper inside a wear-resisting TPE jacket rated for in-wall installation. Triple shielding protects the copper conductors from interference. The cable is plug-and-play with no external power required, freeing you from bulky repeaters or active copper boosters. Directional connectors are marked so the source and display ends are connected correctly.

Passive thermal profile

Optical transmission generates no heat along the cable length, so the run stays at ambient temperature. The only warmth comes from the connector ends, which remain cool in normal use. There are no fans or active electronics, so the link adds zero acoustic noise to the system. Power draw is limited to the small amount sourced from the DisplayPort pins for the optical transceivers.
