What the LUOM TSB01 Is

The LUOM TSB01 is an adjustable-height laptop cooling pad with four built-in fans. It supports devices from 11 to 17.3 inches and folds flat for transport. The stand is made from engineering plastic alloy and silicone in black. Power comes from a USB connection using a Type-C charging interface.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous use the four fans draw 0.6A and 3W total while moving air at 0.9m/s. Noise stays below 40db even during long sessions. The air-cooling design targets the notebook's own vents to maintain lower surface temperatures over extended periods. The plastic alloy frame resists deformation when the pad is left running for hours.

Installation and Common Issues

Setup is plug-and-play: unfold the stand, connect the Type-C cable to a USB port and place the laptop on the 190*190mm surface. Height adjustment uses the foldable legs; no tools are required. The main friction point is cable routing — the Type-C lead can snag when the pad is folded or unfolded repeatedly. Ensure the laptop's intake vents align with the fan array for best airflow.

Questions about this item

How loud are the four fans when the pad runs continuously?

The four fans together stay below 40 dB while moving air at 0.9 m/s, so the pad remains quiet during all-day use.

Does the Type-C charging port mean I need a specific USB-C power source?

The stand draws 3 W at 0.6 A through its USB power input, so any standard USB port or charger that can supply that current will run the four fans.

Will a 17.3-inch laptop fit on the 190 mm square surface without overhang?

The platform measures 190 mm by 190 mm and is rated for devices up to 17.3 inches, so even large notebooks sit fully supported.
