Extra-large desk coverage

The LUOM WorldMap XL mouse pad measures 800×300×2mm and covers a full desktop area for keyboard and mouse together. Its natural rubber base with cloth surface is built for gaming sessions and office work alike. The printed world-map design includes standard time-zone markings for quick reference. Buyers who need a compact pad for a small desk or laptop tray will find this model too large.

Sustained surface feel

The 2mm thickness and double-weave cloth keep the glide consistent during long sessions without hardening or curling at the edges. Anti-fray stitching around the perimeter prevents the layers from separating after repeated arm sweeps. The rubber base resists sliding even when the desk vibrates from keystrokes. Users who prefer a hard plastic or glass surface for maximum speed will not get that feel here.

Simple placement and care

Lay the pad flat on any clean desk; the non-slip rubber bottom grips immediately without adhesive. Spills wipe off the cloth top with a damp cloth because the material repels liquid. Stitched edges stop fraying that often starts at the corners on unstitched pads. Anyone wanting a pad that rolls up tightly for travel may find the stitched border too stiff to pack flat.

Questions about this item

Does the 2 mm natural-rubber base trap heat or make the desk surface warm during all-day use?

The pad is only 2 mm thick with a natural-rubber bottom and cloth top, so it adds negligible insulation and does not generate heat of its own.

What desk space must I already have clear to fit the 800 × 300 mm dimensions?

You need a flat area at least 800 mm wide by 300 mm deep — about 31.5 by 11.8 inches — with no raised edges that would catch the stitched frame.

Will the smooth cloth surface work reliably with an older optical mouse that struggles on glossy pads?

Yes, the fine double-weave cloth gives consistent texture for both optical and laser sensors, and the non-slip rubber base keeps the pad steady on any desk finish.
