Ergonomic Stand for 10 to 17 Inch Laptops

This aluminum stand supports laptops and tablets from 10 to 17 inches, holding devices up to 13 lbs. It raises the screen to an adjustable height and angle, helping users maintain a healthier posture during long work sessions. The open design promotes natural airflow around the device for passive cooling. A built-in storage groove keeps small accessories or stationery within reach.

Foldable Aluminum Riser Replacing Fixed Stands

The foldable frame replaces bulky fixed risers, collapsing flat for transport or drawer storage. A carry handle hole adds portability for mobile professionals. The jump is worth it when desk space is limited or when the workstation moves between home, office and coworking sites. Silicone pads on the contact surfaces protect the laptop from scratches and prevent sliding during typing.

Limits of Passive Cooling and Fixed Footprint

Passive airflow depends on ambient temperature and the laptop's own vent placement; it cannot match active fan cooling under sustained heavy loads. The stand's footprint of 9.40 by 11.22 inches and 2.16 inch folded height define the minimum desk area required. Devices larger than 17 inches or heavier than 13 lbs exceed the rated capacity and stability.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 9.40 x 11.22 inch footprint occupy?

The stand measures 9.40 inches deep by 11.22 inches wide, so it fits on a standard desk while leaving room for a keyboard and mouse in the open area beneath the laptop.

What is the correct way to adjust the height and angle without forcing the mechanism?

No tools are required; simply push or pull the folding arms to the desired position until they lock, avoiding excess force that could damage the hinge.

When should the silicone pads on the top and bottom be replaced?

Replace the pads if they lose grip, show tears, or no longer prevent the laptop from sliding, as they protect the device from scratches and keep the stand stable while typing.
