Luvvitt Clear View Case & Liquid Glass Screen Protector for iPad Pro 12.9 2020

Clear protection for iPad Pro 12.9 2020

This set pairs a transparent hard-shell case with a liquid glass screen protector designed for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro released in 2020. The case combines a polycarbonate back with a flexible TPU bumper and air-pocket corners for drop cushioning. The liquid coating bonds to the display using silica dioxide to increase surface hardness to 9H. It is suited to owners who want full-body coverage without hiding the device’s original finish.

Limits of the liquid glass layer

The wipe-on formula adds an invisible silica dioxide layer that raises scratch and impact resistance but cannot make the screen completely shatter-proof or scratch-proof. Protection relies on the coating filling microscopic imperfections rather than adding measurable thickness. Moisture resistance is improved, yet the treatment does not waterproof the device. Reapplication may be needed over time as the microscopic glass particles wear away with daily use.

Check compatibility before ordering

Verify that your tablet is the 12.9-inch iPad Pro from 2020; other models or years will not align with the case cut-outs. Ensure the screen is free of existing cracks or deep scratches, as the liquid glass cannot repair structural damage. Confirm you are comfortable with a DIY wipe-on application that requires a dust-free environment for best results. The set includes a $250 warranty registration step that must be completed after purchase.
