Handmade mango-wood cable box

This large cable management box is handmade from sustainable mango wood by artisans in India, giving each piece a unique grain. The natural finish suits modern rustic interiors while concealing power strips and excess cords on desks or floors. Screw-in mounting keeps the unit securely in place.

Magnetic lid and felt pads

A strong magnetic lid closes the enclosure without visible hardware and helps keep children and pets away from cables. Ventilation holes allow heat to escape from enclosed power strips. Felt pads on the base protect desk or floor surfaces from scratches.

Check mounting surface and strip size

Verify that the intended surface accepts screw-in installation and that the 15.6 by 6.6 inch footprint fits the available space. Ensure your power strip dimensions do not exceed the internal volume defined by the 5.11 inch height. The box weighs 2.118 kilograms, so the mounting point must support that load.

Questions about this item

Does the natural mango wood need periodic oiling or sealing to stay in good condition?

The box is made from 100 % natural mango wood with a finished surface; no oiling or sealing schedule is required for normal indoor use.

What limits how many cables can be stored inside the 15.6 × 6.6 in box before it becomes impractical?

The internal cavity measures 15.94 × 6.42 × 5.11 in, so the practical limit is reached when the power strip and bundled cords fill that volume and the magnetic lid can no longer close flush.

Will the wood warp or the felt pads degrade if the enclosed power strip runs warm all day?

Ventilation holes in the lid allow heat to escape, and the 2.118 kg solid wood construction resists warping under typical low-voltage power-strip temperatures.
