Utility cart for heavy indoor and outdoor loads

Luxor's EC-series utility carts are constructed to be reliable while carrying weighty loads. The shelves are made of HDPE, a material known for its strength-to-density ratio. This cart serves well as a serving cart, storage cart or garden wagon. It is made in the USA.

Injection-moulded resin shelves with locking casters

Shelves and legs use injection-moulded thermoplastic resin that will not stain, scratch, dent or rust. An ergonomic push handle is moulded into the top shelf for easy guidance. Four 5-inch casters include two locking brakes and two fixed wheels for stationary stability. Assembly is required before use.

Two deep tub shelves and one flat retaining shelf

The cart includes two 2.5-inch deep tub shelves and one 1.625-inch high flat shelf with a 0.25-inch retaining lip. This lip secures items from sliding off during transport. Maximum weight capacity reaches 500 lbs when evenly distributed. The black finish suits multipurpose environments.

Questions about this item

What does the 500 lbs weight capacity mean for loading this cart?

The 500 lbs maximum capacity applies only when the load is evenly distributed across the two 2.5" deep tub shelves and the 1.625" high flat shelf with its 0.25" retaining lip.

Will the 35.25" width and 18" depth fit through my standard interior doorway?

The cart measures 35.25" wide by 18" deep, so it requires a doorway wider than 35.25" for straight-through passage; the 5" casters add no extra width beyond the frame.

How do I install the four 5" casters, and which two get the locking brakes?

Mount the two locking-brake casters on the same end as the ergonomic push handle moulded into the top shelf; the two fixed non-locking casters go on the opposite end.
