Heavy-duty rolling utility cart

This Luxor utility cart supports up to 400 lbs evenly distributed across two shelves. A 2.5-inch deep tub shelf sits on top and a 1.625-inch thick flat shelf with a retaining lip sits below. Injection-moulded thermoplastic resin shelves resist scratches, dents, stains and rust. Four-inch casters include two fixed and two locking swivel units for controlled mobility.

Sustained load handling

The 400 lb capacity applies to evenly distributed weight across both shelves during continuous use. HDPE shelves and PVC legs maintain structural integrity without deformation under maximum load. The 25-inch clearance between shelves accommodates tall items while keeping the centre of gravity low for stable transport. Locking brakes on the swivel casters prevent unwanted movement when the cart is stationary and fully loaded.

Shelf dimensions and clearance limits

Each shelf measures 32 inches wide by 18 inches deep, defining the maximum footprint for stored items. The 25-inch vertical gap between shelves restricts object height on the lower tier. Overall height reaches 32.5 inches with a width of 35.25 inches including the push handle. Assembly is required before the cart can be put into service.

Questions about this item

Will the cart stay quiet and stable when I roll it across a hard floor all day?

The four 4-inch casters — two fixed and two full-swivel with locking brakes — roll smoothly on hard surfaces and lock in place so the cart does not drift when you stop.

What tools or extra parts do I need before I can start using the cart?

The unit ships unassembled; you only need basic hand tools such as a screwdriver or wrench to attach the legs, casters and push handle — no special hardware is required.

Can I keep using my existing 32-inch wide shelving bins on the new cart?

Each shelf measures 32 inches wide by 18 inches deep with 25 inches of clearance between them, so bins that fit those dimensions will sit securely on either the tub shelf or the flat shelf.
