Lyle W1-6-24DA Traffic Sign

This Lyle W1-6-24DA traffic sign measures 12 by 24 inches and uses aluminum construction for outdoor durability. It is built for facility managers and road crews who need a horizontal rectangular marker with pre-drilled mounting holes. The sign carries no printed text, relying on a black-on-yellow arrow graphic to convey direction. It suits permanent or temporary traffic-control installations where a standard arrow symbol is required.

Mounting holes simplify installation

Pre-drilled mounting holes let crews fasten the sign to posts, walls or barricades without field drilling, reducing setup time on site. The aluminum substrate resists corrosion and maintains rigidity across temperature cycles, so the arrow graphic stays legible. Because the face carries no wording, the sign works in multilingual areas without translation concerns. Buyers needing legend text, reflective sheeting upgrades or different arrow orientations should select an alternative model.

Questions about this item

Will the aluminum sign need repainting or corrosion treatment over time?

The aluminum construction resists rust, but the black-and-yellow reflective sheeting may fade after years of sun exposure and eventually require replacement to maintain visibility.

What limits the sign's readability during long periods of direct sunlight?

The 12-by-24-inch reflective face can glare intensely at low sun angles, reducing legibility for approaching drivers until the sun moves higher.
