M.A. Ford CXDSS 1030AP Cyclone XD 3X Double Margin Drill 10.30 mm

SKU CH-M69T-ZV4NN

A 10.30 mm solid carbide drill with double margins for improved hole accuracy and stability

  • 30 mm diameter matches precise drilling needs
  • 3X length extends reach for deeper holes
  • Double margin design improves hole accuracy and finish
  • Cyclone XD geometry enhances chip evacuation efficiency
  • New condition delivers full factory performance reliability

Application

The M.A. Ford CXDSS 1030AP Cyclone XD is a 3X solid double margin drill sized at 10.30 mm. It is built for machinists and maintenance teams who need a rigid, self-centering tool for accurate hole production in tough alloys.

Standard limits

The double margin design improves guidance and finish compared with single margin drills, yet the 3X length-to-diameter ratio still restricts reach in deep cavities. Chip evacuation relies on standard flute geometry, so very long holes may require peck cycles or through-coolant supply.

Deciding spec

The 10.30 mm cutting diameter is the single figure that determines fit for the intended hole size. Buyers who need a different nominal diameter must select another variant, as this drill cannot be resized or adapted to other hole tolerances.

Questions about this item

Is the 10.30 mm Cyclone XD 3X the right diameter for my application?

The CXDSS 1030AP is a solid carbide drill with a 10.30 mm cutting diameter and 3X length, so select it when the hole size and depth-to-diameter ratio match those figures.

What does the 3X designation mean once the drill is in the spindle?

3X indicates a flute length roughly three times the 10.30 mm diameter, giving a deeper reach in a single pass compared with shorter series drills.

Does the double-margin design change the shank or holder interface?

No, the double-margin geometry is on the cutting lands for improved guidance and finish; the shank remains a standard cylindrical solid-carbide shank for conventional tool holders.
