Universal Compatibility

The MAD CATZ Tritton Kunai is a stereo headset built for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and mobile devices. It serves gamers who want one headset across several older platforms and casual listeners using smartphones or MP3 players. Buyers needing modern console chat integration or wireless freedom will not find those features here.

Wired Stereo Limits

Audio and chat travel over a single analogue connection, so the headset depends entirely on the host device’s jack layout and onboard audio quality. Separate game and voice volume dials sit on the cable for quick adjustment, but there is no digital processing, surround simulation or independent software control. The 360 and PS3 era controllers and sound cards define the practical ceiling for fidelity and microphone clarity.

Lightweight Build

A flexible boom microphone bends out of the way when not in use, and the frame is shaped for long sessions without heavy clamping force. The 40 mm neodymium drivers sit in ear cups that fold flat for transport, while the white finish shows wear more readily than darker colours. The fixed cable means a damaged lead cannot be swapped without soldering.
