Compatible toner for Kyocera TASKalfa series

This cartridge replaces the Kyocera TK-6707 and Copystar TK-6709 originals. It fits the TASKalfa 6500i, 6501i, 8000i and 8001i models as well as the Copystar CS 6500i, 6501i, 8000i and 8001i. The pack contains one black unit. Buyers needing colour output or a multi-pack will need a different product.

Print quality and yield

The cartridge is rated at 70000 pages black when measured against ISO/IEC 19798 at five percent coverage. It is manufactured in the USA to match OEM performance. No special cooling, power or noise considerations apply to toner consumables.

Consistent output over long runs

The formulation is designed to maintain density and sharpness across the full rated life rather than fading after a short burst. It supports the high-volume workloads typical of the listed TASKalfa and Copystar devices. Offices that require colour printing or a higher page yield per cartridge should look at alternative supplies.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TK-6707 cartridge in my TASKalfa 8000i, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge straight out, shake the new TK-6707 gently side-to-side, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks.

What will need replacement after the TK-6709 reaches its 70000-page yield?

The TK-6709 cartridge itself is the only consumable in the kit; once the 70000-page yield is reached you simply install a new cartridge.

At what page count does the TK-6707 typically show faded output under heavy daily use?

The ISO/IEC 19798 rating is 70000 pages at 5% coverage; sustained high-coverage printing will reach the fade point well before that figure.
