Compatible Kyocera Toner Pack

This four-pack supplies cyan, magenta, yellow and black cartridges for Kyocera Ecosys FS-C8520, FS-C8525, TASKalfa 205c and 255c printers. It suits offices and home users who need a direct replacement for Kyocera TK-897 and TK-899 originals. The aftermarket units are manufactured in the USA and tested for line resolution, colour density and page yield. They arrive new and ready to install.

Page Yield and Cost Impact

Each black cartridge delivers 12,000 pages while every colour cartridge delivers 6,000 pages, measured against the ISO/IEC 19798 standard at five percent coverage. The higher black yield reduces the frequency of black-only replacements in text-heavy workloads. Buyers who print mostly colour graphics will see the colour cartridges deplete faster and should plan for more frequent colour changes. The pack lowers per-page cost compared with single-cartridge purchases.

Model Compatibility Limits

The cartridges fit only the Kyocera models and part numbers listed in the specifications. Printers outside the Ecosys FS-C8520, FS-C8525, TASKalfa 205c and 255c series will not accept these units. Users with different Kyocera hardware or non-Kyocera devices must source the correct model-specific toner. No firmware or chip updates are mentioned, so compatibility relies on the original printer design.

Questions about this item

When will the black TK-897 cartridge need replacement based on its rated yield?

The black cartridge is rated for 12,000 pages at 5 % coverage under ISO/IEC 19798, so plan to replace it after roughly that volume.

Which colour cartridge runs out first during heavy daily printing?

Each cyan, magenta and yellow cartridge yields 6,000 pages at 5 % coverage, so any colour used heavily will hit its limit before the black unit.

How much heat or noise does this four-pack generate when the printer runs continuously?

Toner cartridges are passive components; they add no fan noise, no extra heat and draw no power beyond what the printer itself consumes.
