Compatible Yellow Toner for Konica Minolta bizhub

This compatible yellow toner cartridge replaces the Konica Minolta TN-626Y and ACV1230 supplies. It is designed for the bizhub C250i, C300i, C360i, C450i, C550i and C650i colour printers. Offices needing a direct replacement for original consumables can use this single cartridge. It is not for buyers who require a multi-colour pack or a black-only unit.

Standard yield and print consistency

The cartridge delivers an approximate yield of 24000 pages measured under the ISO/IEC 19798 standard at five percent coverage. As a toner supply, it operates without moving parts or active cooling, so there is no fan noise or thermal output to consider. Power draw is determined entirely by the printer engine during normal printing tasks. It suits environments that track cost per page against a known yield figure.

Sustained output over long runs

Under continuous printing the cartridge maintains consistent density until the toner is exhausted, matching the rated 24000 page benchmark. There is no performance drop-off associated with thermal throttling because the component is passive. Users who run high-volume monthly cycles will see steady results across the full rated life. It is not for operations that need real-time supply monitoring beyond the printer’s own alerts.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TN626Y cartridge in a bizhub C450i, and which step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull out the old yellow unit, shake the new cartridge gently side-to-side five times, remove the sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks; the step most skipped is removing the full length of sealing tape before insertion.

What maintenance or replacement will the TN626Y need after the 24000-page yield is reached?

When print density fades or the printer signals low toner, replace the yellow cartridge with a new TN626Y unit; no separate drum or developer replacement is required for this cartridge design.

What limit appears first during continuous high-volume printing with the TN626Y?

The 24000-page yield at 5 % coverage is the first limit; sustained runs at higher coverage will exhaust toner before any mechanical wear occurs.
