Enables aftermarket stereo installation in select 2006-up vehicles while retaining steering wheel controls, factory amplifiers, and features like OnStar or SYNC with compatible Kenwood, Alpine.
The Maestro ADS-MRR module lets you fit a new stereo in select 2006-up Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, GM, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Toyota, Scion, Honda, Acura, Fiat, Subaru, Volkswagen and Audi vehicles while keeping the original steering-wheel audio controls and any factory amplifier. It is designed for installers and owners who want a modern head unit without losing those integrated vehicle functions.
The included HRN-RR-FO2 T-harness provides a plug-and-play connection for select 2006-14 Ford, Lincoln, Mazda and Mercury models, removing the need to cut or splice the factory wiring during installation. This adapter works with the ADS-MRR module to integrate all stereo connections and retain the factory amplifier where fitted, simplifying the swap to an aftermarket receiver.
The ADS-MRR unit measures 4-1/8"W x 3/4"H x 2-7/8"D, allowing it to tuck behind the dash in tight cavities. Its connectors support the required vehicle-specific harness (sold separately) to maintain features such as OnStar, SYNC and Uconnect with select Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, JVC and Sony touchscreen receivers, and to display engine performance data on compatible multimedia screens.

The interface is programmed for the specific vehicle and radio combination at installation; no ongoing firmware maintenance is required from the user.
The harness is a passive wiring adapter, so the first limit under sustained use is the vehicle's own circuit protection and connector integrity.
The module has no moving parts and draws minimal current, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat to the dashboard.
