Radio replacement interface that retains steering wheel controls and factory amplifiers in select 2006-up vehicles when installing a new stereo
The Maestro ADS-MRR module connects an aftermarket stereo to select 2006-up vehicles from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Fiat, Subaru and Volkswagen groups. It is built for installers and owners who want a new head unit without losing steering wheel audio controls or the factory amplifier. The interface also preserves convenience systems such as OnStar, SYNC and Uconnect when paired with compatible Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer or JVC touchscreen receivers. A vehicle-specific harness is required to complete the installation.
The unit maintains factory steering wheel commands and amplifier output where fitted, and it passes engine performance data to the touchscreen on select Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony and Alpine multimedia receivers. It does not supply the vehicle-specific harness; that adapter must be obtained separately for each application. Compatibility is limited to the listed vehicle groups and supported aftermarket receiver brands, so vehicles outside those ranges or receivers from other manufacturers will not retain these functions.
The compact module measures 4-1/8 inches wide, 3/4 inch high and 2-7/8 inches deep, allowing it to tuck behind the dash in most installations. Its wiring plugs directly into the required vehicle-specific harness, which in turn connects to the factory wiring and the new receiver. The supplied HRN-RR-FO3 adapter adds Ford truck coverage, retaining steering wheel controls, factory amp, backup camera, SYNC and Bluetooth when used with the ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module. No additional mounting hardware is described.

Yes — the module is designed to retain both the steering-wheel audio controls and any factory amplifier when paired with a compatible Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer or JVC touchscreen receiver.
The touchscreen receiver will display retained features such as OnStar, SYNC or Uconnect menus, and engine performance data will appear on supported Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony or Alpine units.
The HRN-RR-FO3 harness adapter is included, but the ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module itself is sold separately and is required for the installation.
