Magnetic Retrieval Tool 14lb

The Mag-Mate telescoping magnetic pickup retrieves ferrous objects weighing up to 14 lb from awkward spaces. A rare-earth magnet mounted on a rigid steel shaft extends from 23.5 in to 50 in, letting technicians reach deep into engine bays or behind machinery without disassembly. The cushioned rubber handle provides a secure grip during retrieval.

Reach And Load Limits

The rigid shaft cannot bend around obstacles, so line-of-sight access is required. Magnetic pull drops sharply with any air gap, non-ferrous material or sideways load, making the 14 lb rating achievable only under ideal contact. The tool carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Simple Deployment

Extend the shaft until it locks, position the magnet over the target and retract to lift. The most common issue is the magnet attaching to unintended steel surfaces during extension, which can bend the shaft if forced. Wipe the magnet clean after use to maintain full holding force and prevent corrosion on the steel shaft.
