Dual-Sided ID Card Printer

The Magicard ING550 is a dual-sided ID card printer built for organisations that need secure, full-colour credentials on demand. It prints directly onto standard PVC cards and handles both sides in a single pass.

250-Card Bundle and Security Features

The package includes 250 PVC cards so production can start immediately. Digital shredding fragments print-job data after each use, while HoloKote watermarking adds a visible anti-fraud layer. Up to four custom HoloKote designs can be loaded via the manufacturer's web tool, and an optional 600 dpi resin-only mode sharpens fine text and micro-images.

USB and Ethernet Connectivity

USB and Ethernet ports let the printer join an existing network with minimal configuration. Full-colour cards with HoloKote are produced in under 23 seconds, and the high-durability mechanism reduces the frequency of manual intervention during high-volume runs.

Questions about this item

What consumables will the ING550 need replaced after printing the 250 cards in the box?

The package includes 250 PVC cards; once those are used you will need additional blank cards and a replacement colour ribbon to continue printing.

How many full-colour cards with HoloKote can the ING550 produce before it slows down or overheats?

Each card prints in under 23 seconds, and the printer is designed for reduced intervention, so sustained output is limited mainly by ribbon and card capacity rather than thermal throttling.

How much power does the ING550 draw and how loud is it when running all day?

The ING550 integrates via USB and Ethernet for easy set-up and is built for high durability with minimal intervention, keeping noise and heat low during continuous operation.
