Product Identity

The Magicard ING550 is a dual-sided ID card printer that connects via USB and Ethernet for networked issuance. It ships with 250 PVC cards so organisations can start printing secure credentials immediately. The hardware targets offices, schools and facilities that need on-demand photo ID badges with built-in anti-fraud features. Buyers who require high-volume industrial encoding or lamination should look elsewhere.

Security And Quality Features

Digital shredding fragments print-job data after each use, preventing the printer from becoming a data repository. HoloKote watermarks are applied to every card and up to four custom HoloKote designs can be loaded through the manufacturer's web tool. A wide colour spectrum produces vibrant photographs and accurate logos, while an optional upgrade enables 600 dpi resin-only printing for sharper text and barcodes.

Installation And Reliability

Network integration reduces set-up time and demands little technical knowledge, so the printer can join existing infrastructure quickly. High durability lowers the risk of failure and cuts the need for human intervention during daily operation. Full-colour cards with HoloKote complete in under 23 seconds, keeping queues short. Users without Ethernet cabling or PVC card storage plans may face delays.
