ID Card Printer with 250 PVC Cards

The Magicard NG550 prints single-sided or dual-sided identification cards and ships with 250 blank PVC cards. It suits organisations that issue staff badges, student IDs or access-control cards on demand. Digital shredding fragments print-job data after use, helping the device avoid becoming a data repository.

Security and Print Options

An anti-fraud HoloKote watermark can be printed on every card, and up to four custom HoloKote designs can be loaded through the manufacturer’s web tool. A 600 dpi resin-only upgrade is available for sharper monochrome detail. Full-colour cards with HoloKote are produced in under 23 seconds, supporting high-throughput issuance.

Network Integration and Durability

The printer connects to existing network infrastructure, reducing set-up time and the need for specialist technical knowledge. High durability lowers the risk of failure and cuts day-to-day intervention. A wide colour spectrum delivers vibrant, colour-rich output suitable for photographs and accurate logo reproduction.

Questions about this item

Does the Magicard NG550 require a separate cleaning kit or printhead replacement over time?

The printer is built for high durability to greatly reduce failure risk and human intervention, so routine cleaning is the main maintenance it will need.

What limits continuous full-colour printing on the NG550?

Each full-colour card with HoloKote prints in under 23 seconds, so the per-card cycle time is the practical throughput limit.

How much noise and heat does the NG550 produce when running all day?

The design focuses on reduced intervention and reliable operation, keeping noise and heat low enough for office use during extended print runs.
