What It Is

The Magik Costumes balaclava beanie combines a knit outer layer with a fleece liner in a single black accessory. The semi-closed design functions as a hat, face mask, neck gaiter or scarf for cold-weather activities.

Thermals And Wind Protection

Dual-layer construction uses acrylic fibre outside and artificial fleece inside to block wind and retain heat. The integrated brim deflects airflow away from the face during cycling, skiing or hiking.

Head Size Range

Fits head circumferences from 52 cm to 59 cm (20.5 in to 23.2 in) thanks to a high-stretch knit that adapts without pressure. Hand-wash only and hang dry in shade to prevent pilling.

Questions about this item

How do I put on the balaclava beanie so the brim sits straight and the fleece liner covers my ears?

Stretch the dual-layer knit over your head, pull the lower edge down until the fleece liner sits flat over both ears, then adjust the brim forward so it shades your face; the one-size stretch fits 52–59 cm heads.

How should I wash the balaclava beanie to stop the acrylic outer from pilling?

Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent, avoid machine wash, brush wash and chlorine bleach, then hang to dry in the shade.

At what point does the fleece liner stop blocking wind during a long ride?

The fleece inner resists cold wind effectively, but sustained high-speed airflow will eventually penetrate the knit structure.
