Magliner 301019 Folding Nose Extension Plate

The Magliner 301019 is an aluminum folding nose extension plate designed to increase the load surface of compatible hand trucks. It provides a 12 inch by 24 inch beveled platform for transporting bulky items. This accessory is built for material handling tasks requiring extra platform depth.

300 lb Load Capacity Aluminum Construction

The plate supports a maximum load capacity of 300 lb and is constructed from solid aluminum with a beveled profile. It measures 12 inches in overall width, 24 inches in overall depth, and 1 1/2 inches in overall height. The folding design allows the extension to tuck away when not needed.

For Hand Truck Owners Needing Extra Platform Space

This extension suits operators who regularly move oversized boxes, crates, or sheet goods that overhang a standard nose plate. It is not intended for users whose hand truck model lacks the compatible mounting pattern or for loads exceeding the 300 lb rating. Buyers needing a wider or deeper fixed platform should consider alternative configurations.

Questions about this item

How much extra weight can the 300 lb rated plate actually carry on my hand truck?

The plate is rated for 300 lb, so it supports loads up to that limit when properly attached to a compatible Magliner hand truck.

Does the 12 in by 24 in aluminum plate bolt straight onto the existing nose or need an adapter?

It is designed as a folding nose extension for Magliner hand trucks and mounts directly to the existing nose plate without extra adapters.

With a 1 1/2 in overall height will this plate clear the floor when folded up?

The folded profile adds only 1 1/2 in of height, so it stays close to the frame and clears the ground on standard Magliner models.
