MagBox Pro Speedring Bowens Mount

The MagBox Pro Speedring connects any MagBox softbox to Bowens mount studio strobes using a magnetic base. It fits every MagBox size and replaces the standard bayonet fitting with a quick magnetic attachment. The construction follows the MagRing 2 design for improved drop resistance and a professional finish.

For MagBox owners using Bowens strobes

Photographers who already use MagBox softboxes and Bowens mount lights gain a faster setup with this Speedring. Users of other strobe mounts or different softbox systems will need a dedicated adapter for their specific mount type.

Magnetic base for MagBox attachment

The magnetic base is the single specification that determines compatibility. It allows any MagBox softbox to lock onto a Bowens mount strobe in seconds, and the updated MagRing 2 style construction adds greater drop resistance and durability.

Questions about this item

Will the magnetic base on the MagBox Pro Speedring need replacement over time?

The magnetic base is built into the Speedring and designed for repeated attachment; no separate replacement part is mentioned.

What is the first limit reached when using this Speedring continuously on a Bowens mount strobe?

The Speedring itself has no thermal or power limit; the limiting factor will be the strobe's own duty cycle and heat management.

Does the Speedring add any audible noise or extra heat during all-day studio sessions?

The Speedring is a passive metal mount with no electronics, so it produces no noise and adds negligible heat.
