The Magnasonic FS71-SDSDB032G-KIT converts 35mm, 110, 126 and Super 8 film negatives plus 135, 126 and 110 slides into 24-megapixel JPEG files. It operates without a computer, using a built-in 5-inch LCD for preview and on-device editing such as brightness, RGB colour correction, flip and mirror. A 32GB SD card is included and the slot accepts cards up to 128GB.

1.2 lb unit with HDMI output

The scanner measures 6.00 inches high, 6.00 inches wide and 8.00 inches long and weighs 1.2 lbs. Its 5-inch display lets you review scans immediately, while the HDMI port enables viewing on an external TV or monitor for group slideshows. Internal memory of 128MB provides a buffer when no card is inserted, and the supplied fast-loading trays streamline batch scanning.

Check film formats and HDMI cable

Verify that your negatives or slides match the supported 35mm, 110, 126, Super 8, 135, 126 and 110 formats before ordering. An HDMI cable is not included, so have one ready if you plan to connect the scanner to a television or monitor. The device runs standalone, so no driver installation or host computer is required.
