Eight-slot charger with sixteen AA cells

The Powerex MH-C801D charges up to eight AA or AAA NiMH cells at once and ships with sixteen AccuPower AA batteries rated at 2900 mAh each. It suits photographers, field technicians or households that run many devices on rechargeable cells and want a single mains-powered station.

Replaces single-bay or fixed-rate chargers

Moving from a basic two-slot unit means you can replenish a full set of spares in one cycle instead of staggering charges over hours. The jump is worth it when you regularly drain eight or more cells between shoots or shifts and need them ready the next morning.

Drop-in cells, automatic detection

Insert the batteries and the charger selects the correct current without button presses. The main failure mode is mixing heavily depleted cells with nearly full ones, which can extend the overall cycle; keeping sets together avoids that delay.
