Eight-slot smart charger

The Powerex MH-C801D charges up to eight AA or AAA cells simultaneously. It operates on 100-240VAC at 50/60Hz with a 1200mA input. Each slot delivers a 2000mA charge rate for AA cells and 100mA for AAA cells. The unit suits households or offices that cycle many NiMH batteries regularly.

2600 mAh NiMH cells included

Eight AccuLoop-X AA batteries provide 1.2 Volt and 2600 mAh capacity each. They handle high-drain devices such as flashlights or camera flashes and hold charge well during storage. The pack reaches its limit when a device demands more current than a single AA cell can supply or when runtime exceeds the rated capacity.

Charger and batteries bundled

The package combines the MH-C801D charger with two four-cell cards of AccuLoop-X batteries. No separate purchase is needed to start charging immediately. Users who already own enough cells or who prefer a different brand gain no extra value from the included batteries.

Questions about this item

Will the MH-C801D charge my older AA and AAA NiMH cells at the same 2000 mA rate?

The charger accepts AA and AAA sizes and delivers a 2000 mA charge current for AA cells; AAA cells charge at the lower 100 mA rate.

How can I verify the charger is operating correctly once I plug it in?

Each of the eight slots has an independent LCD that shows real-time voltage, current and charge progress so you can confirm every cell is charging.

Does the package include everything needed to start charging right away?

Yes — the box contains the MH-C801D charger, a 100-240 VAC power cord and eight AA AccuLoop-X 2600 mAh NiMH batteries (1.2 V) on two cards of four.
