Scale and licensing

This is a 1/24 scale diecast model of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 finished in yellow metallic. It is an officially licensed product aimed at adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value accurate representation.

Build and everyday handling

The model uses diecast metal with some plastic parts and rides on real rubber tyres. Opening hood and doors reveal a detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment, while the manufacturer's original unopened packaging protects the item until display.

Upgrade context

It replaces smaller or less detailed replicas that lack opening features or licensed accuracy. The jump is worthwhile when a collector wants a larger scale with authentic proportions and movable elements for closer inspection.

Questions about this item

What scale is the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 model, and how does that translate to the displayed length?

The model is 1/24 scale and measures approximately 7.75 inches long, giving a compact but detailed representation of the full-size car.

What clearance is needed to display the model with its opening hood and doors?

The model stands 2.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide; allow extra space around it so the hood and both doors can swing open without hitting adjacent items.

How is the diecast model prepared for display, and what step do buyers often miss?

Remove the model from its original unopened packaging, peel any protective film from the yellow metallic body and windows, then position it on a stable surface — skipping the film removal leaves a hazy finish.
