Universal Folding Base 678

The Manfrotto 678 is a universal folding base designed to attach to compatible monopods including the 679, 680, 681, 3016, 3018, and 3249 models. It provides a stable three-legged platform for photographers who need steadier support while shooting on varied terrain.

Capacity and Load Limit

The base supports a maximum load of 30.8 lbs, accommodating a wide range of camera bodies and lens combinations for both professional and enthusiast use. Its high-strength steel construction delivers rigidity at the rated capacity, though loads exceeding this limit are not supported.

Integration and Portability

Weighing 9 lbs, the accessory folds its legs into the monopod's bottom section for compact storage and rapid deployment. It requires one of the listed monopod models to function and adds a stable footprint without the bulk of a full tripod system.
