All-Day Neckband for Work Shifts

The MANHATTAN 179836 is a wireless neckband earbud built for long shifts and commutes. Bluetooth 5.2 provides a stable link up to 30 ft from your phone. The 250 mAh battery delivers up to 15 hours of playback and recharges in 2 hours via USB-C. IPX4 resistance handles sweat and light rain during active use.

Sustained Use Over a Full Day

A 15-hour playback window covers back-to-back calls, podcasts and music without reaching for a charger. Standby stretches to 280 hours so the set is ready when picked up after days off. The 10 mm drivers produce 102 dB sensitivity across 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 32 ohm impedance. Passive noise isolation reduces background chatter in open offices or transit.

Upgrade from Wired or Short-Life Buds

This replaces tangled wired earphones or older wireless sets that die before the shift ends. The secure neckband with magnetic earbuds and three tip sizes plus detachable hooks stays put while lifting or climbing. It is not for buyers who need active noise cancellation, true wireless stereo separation, or audiophile-grade codec support beyond aptX.

Questions about this item

Will the neckband get hot or drain quickly if I wear it for a full 15-hour shift?

The 250 mAh battery is rated for up to 15 hours of playback and recharges in 2 hours via USB-C; no active cooling is needed and the lightweight 1.41 oz design stays comfortable.

What charging port does the 179836 need and is the cable in the box?

It charges through a USB-C port; a 1 ft USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter are both included so you can plug into any standard charger.

Will the Bluetooth 5.2 link stay stable with my older phone that only supports earlier versions?

Bluetooth 5.2 is backward-compatible, so it will pair with older Bluetooth devices, though range and efficiency follow the older device's specification.
