XXL Desk Coverage

The Manhattan 425490 XXL Mouse Pad measures 32 x 14 inches, covering a broad area that fits both keyboard and mouse on one continuous surface. It is built for users who want a single mat to organise their entire desk zone. Buyers needing a compact pad for limited desk space will find this size excessive.

Micro-Textured Cloth Limits

The micro-weave cloth surface supports precise tracking for optical and laser mice alike. Very high DPI settings or extremely fast swipes may reach the practical friction ceiling of the cloth weave. The surface has no hard coating, so it cannot replicate the near-zero drag of a rigid plastic or glass pad.

Spill Resistance And Edge Durability

A water-resistant coating handles everyday splashes from coffee or energy drinks, letting you wipe the mat clean without soaking through to the desk. Stitched edges prevent fraying under heavy daily use. The coating is not waterproof, so large liquid volumes can still penetrate if left standing.

How does the 3 mm thickness feel in daily use?

At 3 mm the pad adds a thin, firm layer that stays flat and does not raise the wrists noticeably.

What does the micro‑textured cloth surface mean for mouse tracking?

The micro‑weave cloth gives consistent glide and precise control for both optical and laser sensors.
