Convertible 15-inch laptop briefcase

The Manhattan Portage Webb Convertible Briefcase fits a 15-inch laptop and switches between briefcase and cross-body carry with a removable shoulder strap. Built from 1000D CORDURA® Classic fabric with tarpaulin vinyl accents, it is designed for daily urban commuting. Magnetic flap closure and reversed YKK® zippers add security and water resistance.

Materials and weather protection

The 1000D CORDURA® Classic fabric provides abrasion resistance for city streets, while tarpaulin vinyl accents reinforce high-wear areas. Reversed YKK® zippers reduce water entry at the seams and 3M™ reflective tape accents improve visibility in low light. The magnetic flap closes quickly without mechanical fasteners that can snag.

Carry style and capacity flexibility

Two-way carry lets you choose briefcase handles or the padded cross-body strap depending on load and commute length. Side zippers open to expand the main compartment when extra volume is needed, and three large open pockets under the flap keep essentials accessible. Buyers who need a dedicated trolley sleeve or a rigid frame for heavy hardware will need a different design.

Questions about this item

How do I switch the Webb briefcase from briefcase to cross-body carry?

Attach the removable shoulder strap to the side rings and adjust the rubberised pad for cross-body wear; detach it to use the top handles as a briefcase.

What part of the bag is most likely to need replacement after heavy daily use?

The removable shoulder strap and its rubberised pad see the most stress and can be swapped out separately if they wear out.

Which closure will reach its limit first if the bag is packed tightly every day?

The reversed YKK zipper is the first point of strain; overstuffing the expanded side-zip capacity puts sustained tension on its teeth and slider.
