This Manw device works as a 2 in 1 out or 1 in 2 out switch for HDMI 2.1 signals. It lets you route two sources to one display or one source to either of two displays. A button on the unit selects the active path in two to four seconds. It is aimed at users who need to share a single 8K screen between consoles or PCs, or toggle a GPU between two monitors.

HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and display limits

The switch passes up to 48Gbps, enabling 7680 by 4320 resolution at 60Hz. It is backward compatible with lower resolutions and refresh rates. In 1 in 2 out mode the two connected monitors cannot show content simultaneously; only the selected output is active. Source devices, cables and displays must all support the target resolution and refresh rate for the link to work.

8K 60Hz capacity and device support

The unit handles 8K at 60Hz for gaming consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series, and graphics cards including 3060, 3070, 3080, 6600, 6700, 6800 and 6900 models. It works with Windows, iOS and Android systems. It cannot drive two monitors at once from a single source, and it does not support resolutions or bandwidth beyond the 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 limit.
