Half Female Conical Coupler for Junction Box

This coupler provides a secure connection point inside a junction box for professional audio installations. It is designed for technicians and system integrators who need reliable signal routing in fixed pro sound environments. The component suits rack builds and permanent venue wiring where a half female conical interface is required.

Passive component with no active cooling or power

As a passive metal fitting, the coupler generates no heat and operates silently without any electrical consumption. It adds no thermal load to the enclosure and requires no external power supply or fan clearance. The part simply maintains continuity between connected cables in the junction box.

Questions about this item

How do I install the half female conical coupler onto a junction box, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Thread the coupler onto the junction box entry until the conical seat makes full metal-to-metal contact; the step most installers miss is tightening without a wrench on the box side, which can twist the conduit and break the seal.

What maintenance or replacement will this coupler need over time?

Inspect the conical seating surface and threads annually for corrosion or deformation; replace the coupler if the taper shows galling or if the threads no longer achieve a tight, weatherproof joint.
