Industrial Yellow Wax Refills

Markal 96241 solid paint marker refills supply twelve yellow wax sticks for manual marking on indoor and outdoor surfaces. They suit maintenance crews, fabricators and inspectors who need immediate dry time and visible marks without ink mess. The flat tip produces fine lines for layout, identification or quality-control tasks. Buyers who want liquid ink flow or glow-in-the-dark pigment will not find those features here.

Temperature Range And Pack Quantity

Each stick marks reliably from 0 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, giving headroom for cold storage areas and hot metal surfaces. The twelve-stick pack covers repeated jobs without frequent reordering. Wax formulation resists smearing once applied, but the refill lacks a built-in holder or mechanical advance mechanism. Users needing automatic feed or larger-diameter marks should look elsewhere.

5 1/2 Inch Overall Length

Every refill measures five and one-half inches overall, determining compatibility with Markal solid paint marker holders that accept this length. The dimension also affects how many sticks fit in a tool pouch or storage bin. Verify your holder specification before purchase, as other lengths will not seat correctly.

Questions about this item

Will the 5 1/2 in yellow wax refills fit the older Markal solid paint marker body I already own?

These 96241 refills are made for Markal solid paint markers and match the standard 5 1/2 in length, so they should slide into the same holder you are already using.

How can I verify the marker is marking correctly once I load a refill?

Advance the wax tip manually, press the flat tip to the surface and check for an immediate, opaque yellow line — the wax dries at once and works from 0 to 150 Degrees F indoors or out.

Does the pack contain only the 12 yellow wax refills or are holders and tips included?

The pack contains 12 yellow wax refills only; marker bodies, caps or replacement tips are not included and must be purchased separately.
