Product Identity

The MARSH TD2100 is a manual tape dispenser with a built-in heater, finished in black. It is designed for shipping rooms and mailrooms that apply paper tape to cartons and need the adhesive activated by heat during dispensing.

Heater Constraints

The integrated heater warms the tape as it feeds, which suits water-activated paper tape that requires moisture and heat to bond. The manual action means throughput depends on operator speed, and the heater adds a warm-up period before the first seal can be made reliably.

Installation Notes

Place the unit on a stable bench, load a compatible paper tape roll, and allow the heater to reach temperature before use. Common issues include uneven seals if the tape is not centred, adhesive build-up on the heater plate, and jams when the roll tension is too tight or the paper is damp.

Questions about this item

Which version of the MARSH TD2100 tape dispenser should I choose for heated paper tape?

The TD2100 model includes a built-in heater designed for paper tape, so this single version covers that need.

What does the built-in heater actually do when the dispenser is in use?

It warms the paper tape as it feeds through, activating the adhesive so the tape sticks immediately without extra moisture.

Is the TD2100 a manual or automatic dispenser, and how does that affect daily use?

It is a manual dispenser — you pull and tear each length by hand, giving full control over tape length for each parcel.
